Start Something New
I was interested that nothing was said about obtaining college approval. My recent experience in talking with a Dean at Mohave Community College is that they view such a startup as a new "club" and require a full-time faculty member to sponsor it, with pessimism as to whether one will volunteer. She asked if the "club" would engage in "proselytizing" (which is prohibited). I described the "I Once Was Lost" approach and she found this to be "organic" and acceptable.
